PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Greetings everyone!
I think I can safely say our June horse show was a resounding success. From the walking taco dinner to the photo booth to the Kestrel Ridge Team Skills Competition there were smiles and good times all around. I especially enjoyed everyone's photos with the fun props!
Our July Midsummer Classic show is coming up quickly. We'll have multiple Showdown classes with belt buckles for the winners and our Steady Hand Showmanship challenge on Saturday night. This is a new fun event for us and anyone can enter. You'll run a showmanship pattern with a full cup of water in one hand. The person with the most water in their cup (by weight) at the end of the pattern is the winner.
There is a free BBQ hot dog exhibitors dinner Saturday evening as well.
Stalls are filling up fast so be sure to get yours booked. You won't want to miss this one!
The OPHC Board of Directors works hard to be sure every show is a fun and relaxing weekend for our exhibitors. Thank you to all of them for the countless hours they contribute!
See you all in July!
Liz
