ABOUT OUR CLUB

Chartered in 1971, the Ontario Paint Horse Club offers something for everyone!

The aim of the Ontario Paint Horse Club is to promote and enjoy the American Paint Horse, whether in the show ring, on the trails, or simply at home in the backyard. We strive to maintain an enthusiastic, family-oriented club atmosphere suitable to encourage high moral character and sportsmanship among our members, and to develop the capabilities of our Youth and Amateurs in the breeding, raising and exhibiting of Paint horses.

For 2026, OPHC is proud to offer 4 multi-judged, multi-day shows, all to be held at the world-class indoor facility at the Ancaster Fairgrounds in Ancaster, ON.

OPHC members earn club points and are eligible for High Point All Around Day awards at each show as well as Year End High Point and Reserve High Point class & division awards.

Our very popular All-Breed Stakes classes will run again in September. In July, we will be hosting our Annual Ontario Provincial Paint Horse Showdown - come out & win a buckle! There are special events at every show! We invite all new & returning members to join us for another exciting, fun & rewarding year with the Ontario Paint Horse Club!
